hello people I updated my s4 recently and now I have a pink and green smear across the top half of my screen...any ideas what it is.......and how to get rid of it thanx * +

updated to what 4.4.2 ? whatever it is I'd do a google search for known issues for that firmware on the s4... * +

Before I updated it I had it on charge all night and when I woke up and went to take it off charge the phone was absolutely red hot I couldnt keep hold of it then it turned it self off so I took battery out until it cooled down then turned back on and it said I had a new update so I updated it then thats when I noticed the green and pink smear on the screen * +

That's a screen defect, take it to a Samsung service center. They have to replace the display panel. * +

It should not get hot either,warm but not hot *
