The dual core GS3 that the US got was more powerful, it had 2GB RAM from day one, but the Quad core the rest of the world got had a better GPU, Wolfson DAC and better Camera sensor. The sooner Samsung and Broadcom sort out the LTE support issues the sooner we'll get the same Galaxy S model globally. * +

At time of release LTE was gaining major ground here in SA, Samsung now sell both the GS4 Octa 32GB and GS4 Quad with LTE 16GB. The Octa supports LTE but not the bands used outside Korea. There are guys at XDA from UK, US etc... who bought the Korean GS4, the E330S (I think its called) and they can't use LTE, its a matter of Radios and what bands they support which makes it quite complicated.

Yes I understand with different bands of lte, the iPad 3 was advertised as lte capable here on release, which technically they are right, only problem is the bloody thing didn't work with any Aussie lte networks, so people complained to the consumer watch dog, then apple was fined for misleading the public and made to refund anyone that was felt they were buying an lte ipad * +

And worse when less than a year they've updated to the iPad 4 with improvements plus compatible lte * +

Ah yes, I remember that whole fiasco! It's difficult one with all the varying Radios and Bands,even the iPhones and iPads come in a variety of models WRT radios and bands they support. * +
