tho, when it support's the format, your built in player should usually be best because it'll have optimized gpu supported playback... * +

Welcome marrius. MXPlayer is excellent, by far my favourite when I do look at 3rd party players. What phone are you using though? * +

don't ppl find mxplayer a little 'grainy' in it's image quality compared to the default player (I'm talking about Samsung's here). and it was on rare occasions jittery with larger resolutions. plus subs aren't always perfectly in sync. I use it much less than I used to. * +

I used it heavily on my GS2 and thoroughly enjoyed using it, but with my GS3 and GS4 I stuck to default player, I don't have it installed on the GS4 but do on the GS2. * +

even on my s2 the image was cleaner and more crisp on the default player, and the playback smoother too with high bitrate 1080 and 720p. * +
