now my phone wont start up with my micro sd in it and everything is stored to that whatever games and pics and music i had is saved to micro sd my phone loads then when it says preparing sd card it just goes back to the samsung start up screen * +

this is why I gave up on them! As for GS2 JB Update, my GS2 is running beautifully, the only issue is heating up after boot up due to Media refreshing, even the GS3 got this bug in latest 4.1.2, but luckily its not there in 4.2.2 in GS4, an update that both S2 and S3 will get.

there's an app in the store to fix this issue just means that you have to manually refresh media scanner. doesn't effect my s3 tho if I'm honest so don't need to use it. *
