You didn't read that wrong people, Samsung today announced their 8core Exynos 5 Octa mobile chip, with a mixture of A7 cores for low power usage and A15cores for the heavy lifting: http://is.gd/2AAoEQ I cannot wait for the Galaxy S4 now Samsung has ONCE AGAIN just shat on its competitors. * +

4 core is more than enough...for now but mayb n nxt 4-5 years there would be use of 8core......more core more price...waste of money..same 4core performance...... * +

yeah agree amazing that samsung have pulled it off but there's no need for it .... again it just means more price and more battery consumption.... when are phone manufactures going to invest in battery technology, it's great having a top of the range phone but if the battery doesn't even last a day then whats the point. * +

I agree with whoever said battery life needs attention firat. Core count is epeen at this stage. * +
