On galaxy s advance. A few month ago it started to happen, stock browser, opera etc would not connect, but opera mini did. Deleting a few apps seemed to temporarily fix the problem but not anymore. I have deleted loads of apps but can't get any browser to load apart from opera mini, any idea what the problem is? * +

Are you saying that the other browsers won't actually open at all, or that they won't load pages? Have you got a task manager which'll show you what apps are running and how much RAM you have left? When Mini works and others don't, it can be two things: 1) a dodgy access point (as Mini uses Operas proxy servers) or 2) not enough spare RAM (as Mini's not as memory intensive) * +

If the browsers won't even open, it would suggest the latter, and you should look at ending any running tasks that are consuming memory - def out any Live Wallpaper you may have running for instance. * +

They load up but won't load pages. I have killed tasks, freed up lots of memory but still same problem. * +

seems the most likely, often when my network's screwed up I can still get around with Mini. what network are you on? I can find you a link to all the UK network settings (if you're in the UK) and make sure you've got the right APN/port etc. * +

weird one - I presume when you say your network's fine you mean that other apps requiring net access ARE working? Does any kind of message come up when you're trying to load a page in the stock or other browsers, or do you just get a static blank page? * +
