Just wondered what a good anti virus app is? And do we need them? I notice that a lot of anti virus apps have been cracked, it doesn't give much conference that anti virus can be hacked? But I might be wrong because I don't really understand how it works * +

Before I owned any android device I read an article that said all antivirus for it is cr*p, I forgot the ones they tested but apparently they all failed to pick up on lots of known viruses, the test was for both free and paid apps * +

And the advice being offered was just plainly check for permissions each app asks for then to apply common sense, if you think a particular app doesn't need to access as much personal data in order to work then it's suspicious * +

Now that might sound all fine but viruses malware spyware can still hide in software even if they don't ask for any permission right? * +
