Back up your ROM with clock work mod. if your rooted install ROM manager and flash the latest CWM from it, then get in download mode and backup current stock ROM, you should always do this. Btw after you back up then you can wipe and flash new ROM incase anything goes wrong restore backup and everything will be back as before. * +
