iam having difficulty deciding between the two. the asus nexus 7 is quad core compared to the tab which is dual core. they both have 8gb of internal memory. the nexus is obviously more powerful and its cheaper but it has no memory card slot * +

both have 7 inch screens but the nexus has a better IPS type display. the tab has ICS but the nexus has jellybean which iam told supports usb on the go is this right? cos if so could you use a usb memory stick to solve the storage problem on the asus? * +

normally I would have gone for the asus without hesitation but the lack of expandable memory is a concern when you only have 8gb internal. Iam getting it free so the 16gb versions arent available anyway and carphone warehouse dont have them. what do you think? * +

I Know you can connect keyboards and mouces to the nexus but apparantly there maybe an app for usb on the go for memory sticks, or a mod. but iam having difficulty confirming this. can anyone enlighten me? * +

ah well I don't want a 10 inch screen cos you can't fit in in a jacket pocket. that's what I like about the 7 inch models. I've just been into carphone warehouse and they now have the 16gb version of the nexus available free with a contract so that's good news * +

I can put up with no mem card slot if there is 16gb internal but not 8gb. however a mem card slot still makes it easier to transfer files from another device. I have a lot of films in divix format cud you transfer these to the nexus if it was connected to a computer? surely you could? * +
