ok let me answer a few ?, if you buy a phone that is unbrand (not a network phone/was never on a mobile network to begin with) then it is fully unlocked, all phones are unlocked, but mobile networks always lock their phones. * +

if you bought a phone that is unlock, but was once locked to a network say tmobile or sprint, if you update os over the air you will be locked after update, say You have a sg2 update via kies your locked right after well yall i have mod unlock files i just used it each time i get a stock update via kies. Can be unlock with a few files edit and mod, but if you don't know your way around you found f your phone up i have a old sg vibrant so i experiment until i perfect my skill though am a rom jun * +
