I notice on the xperia its so much easier to type a non recognized word. it gave you the option me choosing which single letter you wanted from the key you pressed before letting you do the same on the next set. on this fone, it puts a space between the characters once you choose a single letter. really really dumb. that's an area Nokia just has better and simpler along with Sony. typing this was an effort.

this is already the second keyboard I've tried. they just seem to change the layout rather than alter the way text entry functions. are you saying your suggestion will make that difference ? I don't wanna try and get more annoyed if it doesn't. * +

3mel, to change layout you must go to Settings -Language and Input, choose TouchPal, go to Layout, go down to International keyboard layout -set Portrait to 12-key PhonePad. I cant stand QWERTY so thats what i use, its an excellent t9 keyboard. :) * +

Thats if you like using T9 like me, otherwise you can tweak TouchPal in its settings to e.g. word suggestions and adjust its size etc... IMO the best keyboard especially if you prefer T9 like me. *
