Congrats, if what a mate of mine says about his is true then its a great compact tab, did you get the 8 or 16gb version, if you got the 8 then you may want to root it and get that app that lets you use the usb port as an extra sdcard slot boosting your overall storage capacity * +

thanks got the 16gb from a retail , ill look in to the extra storage a little later, still trying to get used to it coming from iOS, so any tips on essential apps etc? ive read some apps are still not compatible with jellybean , and straight after turning it on it asked me to update to 4.1.1 * +

read about the launchers before had no idea what it was till I had a browse in the store, there is an iPhone styled one perhaps that will help me to ease in to it quicker? * +

essential apps is tricky until we know what your going to use the tab for ? get opera and use that as your browser, I find it better than the stock browser, a keyboard app may prove beneficial, I recommend smart keyboard pro, moon reader is probably the best epub reader imo, I don't know about compatiblity issues with JB but as a lot of apps are updated constantly there will be fixes for any apps you want to use (if they haven't already been fixed) * +
