Getting a GS3 on Tuesday for a month, really going to give Android a try. Going to put my 4S away for the month and use the S3 for everyday use, just read the review on GSMArena and I must say it sounds impressive. This is the first Android device I'll have properly used since the Nexus One so I know a lot will have changed since then, will I need to root the S3? Thanks * +

Yea they are adiy, every day more and more devs are jumping on android. I can get pretty much anything thats available on ios on my s3. * +

Also its not like iphone where you have to jb to get free apps etc. All you need to do is download an app that allows you to get paid apps. There are various apps around. One in particular is aptoide but you can just go ahead and search for the apk file on google and download and install straight to phone. * +

Also for music, you dont need to have itunes etc. Its just drag and drop or download and listen straight from phone. * +

Lastly rooting allows you to take your phone a step further by overclocking messing with different roms which are kind of like different firmwares that are tweaked by devs removing bloatware etc. Buts thats a step once you are ready for it imo. Congrats again and any questions im sure ppl here will try and help apart from the idiots here that have increased recently... * +
