need some help as can't find much on internet... ok, can I flash cwm recovery or rz recovery from stock recovery... I'm on stock gingerbread v2.3.4 but want to flash a custom rom but don't think i can do it from stock recovery. any help or links guys... thanx * +

to flash custom rom u need to flash kernel, as i know kernel cant be load via recovery. well cyanogenmod9 is good to, using it right now. * +

you need a rooted kernel with clockwork mod recovery on it. flash that then you will be able to flash cwm zip packages. remember to make a back up first tho. * +

Root ur phone first, then flash CWM through rom manager or via update zip through stock recovery. then get whatever your flashing and put on sdcard, reboot in recovery using rom manager or (turn phone off ) use volume and power b*tton to get in recovery and ur good flash whatever u wants. But can't do without CWM, because the options u get when your on stock recovery, is not there if CWM is not installed. CWM it gives the flashing options. Hope I made sense, or answered your . * +

@he's already rooted, my problem i try to install rootpackage.zip with the built-in galaxy s2 recovery but it's not work , then i flash custom kernel to it, work but with yellow triangle startup then. How to remove it? * +
