ok guys, managed to install a custom rom and I have internet now... had problem with 'access point names' not showing up (blank screen) solved it by just going to blank screen and clicking 'menu' then 'new api' then using an app could 'apn backup' to restore my API... solved * +

so when you're installing a custom rom just backup you're API settings first * +

cm9 by chance? you can flash your phones uk csc file to get them back. *
