Again, BS about devs prefering iOS f1ddy. Ever heard of the Cyanogen Team? MIUI? SLIM? i could go on. These are dev teams that work on their own Android custom ROMs with completely different UIs,some based on stock Android some based on manufacturer ROMs etc...They issue their own updates and tweaks, i dont have to wait for Samsung to release Android4.0.4 for my GS2, i can load any ROM i want, and get updates from those devs and strip my GS2 of Samsung's tweaks and apps. Some devs update them daily, some every week others once a month. * +

It depends what build and for what phone. I havent used MIUI since my Xperia X10, back then i used MIUI1.8 i think, based on Android2.3.5, and it never got unstable. It was an MIUI ROM but also customized by an independant X10 Dev, Trip. * +
