this a notice for all owners of the samsung galaxy tab 7 inch wi-fi only p1010 model. this only applies to uk owners as far as iam aware. (may also apply to the rest of europe) if you are still stuck on the original froyo stock software there is now an official gingerbread update available via samsung kies. but ideally check for kies updates prior to connecting your device. once you launch kies on your computer it should prompt you if an update is available if your online. *

NOTICE REGARDING BLUETOOTH FUNCTIONALITY AFTER THE UPDATE PROCEDURE: the bluetooth will not function after the update untill you do a factory reset on your device after which it should work without a hitch. remember to back up any important files before attempting any of this. *

UNITED STATES OWNERS OF P1010 MODEL: there is no official upgrade to gingerbread for your device at present but U.S owners have flashed their device with the uk update and they have been fine. but be aware this is attempted at your own risk and may void your U.S warranty if there is a problem during the upgrade. (if your tab is still within the guarantee period of course) *
