guys was useng froyopro 2.5 was workn well. then i flashed kernal nAa 11 kernal n flashed firedroid 2.3 on SE w8 .. well i den wanted to try other rom shine 4 evo.. an after that status bar stuck ncouldn't pull down on portraitmode, but on landscape is fine and there'sanother area where touch inputacting strange too. i tryed to flash back to stock rom stock kernal of x8 but problem still there. wen i went back to the w8 rom back i made it worked well. but again flashd to coustom rom again the * +

Hmmm but it looks like even after updaten via update service .again rooten n flashn the old rom .it stl unresponsiv + nw m on stock rom an stl no luck 
what may be the problem? Hardware pro? An can a costom rom cause hardware problem? * +

yes,maybe. i go to cyanogen forum some of them had the same problem, not yet a complete solution. * +

after using ICS on my play, i get back to 2.3.4, then the touch become very slow and laggy, then i flash back to ICS and its fine, weird. now stuck on ICS but no problem with that. * +

I gave ma fone to the service center, i flashd back to stock n unrooted an gave them. Lets c wat they do * +

xda forums mate, look for xperia x8 roms, had all kinds of problems, but put primeHD rom on the phone, very responsive phone now mate :) * +
