I have seen on the HTC phones, that words are suggested as you type etc, I cant find the right setting on the Galaxy S2 using the android keyboard. I hate the swype keyboard. Anyone know? *

use smart keyboard it will suggest and correct your words *

I just rooted it and put a basic android rom for it off xda developers, its much better, just stock android and runs faster and has the spell checker by default on the keyboard. *

do you mean the actual spell checker service that is part of ics on other phones? where mistakes are underlined in red? if so, this can be enabled very recently thanks to some good work of a member of xda. *
