hey guys is there anyway to stop the ads appearing in Opera Mini. tried most of the ad blockers eg: Adaway, but they only seem to work in Opera Mobile. *

It's unlikely in Mini, because as you know, the content is transcoded by Opera's servers and 'sent' to your phone, so the normal blocking process just wouldn't work. The best you could do really is turn images off, then at least you'd only get the text of the ad or a placeholder. *
