hey guys, can you pls tell me how can I prevent myself frm receiving these irritating ads on my phone. Usually its ads about my phone eating my battery or they tell me about some specials.however when I checked under my installed apps. i don have anything thats got to do receiving all this.am using Samsung Galaxy S2, and I can recall this started happening after dwnldng some apps for my phone.Plse helpThx * +

some free apps will give you pop up ads, as its how the developers make money from the free version of an app. look on the play store for an app called ad free, it should fix things for you * +

use an ad blocking app like Adaway (check my updates post) if your using operamini it won't work because it uses there own operamini cache which isn't stored on your phone. but it will work with OperaMobile as the cache is stored on your phone. * +
