I'm changing from symbian toandroid and i'm thinking ofgetting the xperia play. Doesanyone know if n64 and ps1emulator works ok on it? Fullspeed and sound ect? If not any suggestions on a good phone forgaming? Thanks! * * +

fpse should run ps1 games fine on xperia play. N64 is a bit of a cr*p shoot. Even on very high end devices, its still has graphical errors and has slow down. While it can be fast, many games just dont render properly. Sound emulation is good with n64oid but on xperia play, dont expect too much * +

or any device for that matter. The only games that I seen that were near flawless on n64oid are, All the Turok games, GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Mario 64, Mario Kart 64. And this is on a high end device mind you. Games that were graphically off, both Zelda games, in the menu windows the animations of Link where you see his equipment change were scrambled on OoT. On Majoras Mask, the Bombers Notebook WILL NOT render anything accept a black screen. Im a55 uming it has to do with the emulation core or * +

graphics plugin. But both games are playable. Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 both suffer from the same glitches, as does Mystical Ninja. Aidyn Chronicles has a severe glitch graphically. Some character sprites appear black and arent skinned at all, apart from the head. Thats definitely the plugins error. Now theres other n64 emulators than n64oid, theres Mupen64AE and all its derivatives aka n64 player. It has more options BUT isnt nearly as fast or as good or accurate at emulation but it can fix graph * +

al errors with plugins, like rice video plugin. But dont expect too much from either, especially on xperia play. But ps1 emulation should be near flawless provided you get a good ISO * +

just a suggestion, use fpse .11 for ps1 emulation. It is BY FAR the best so dont listen to anyone who says it isnt. No higher builds because they havent got nearly as many options and plus its easy to find cracked for free and to be honest, the later versions kinda s*ck. Dont be fooled by the newer versions with open gl plugins, trust me, the graphics are enhanced but very cartoony and look...odd. * +
