@napster4 - I'd say Picsay Pro, although that's obviously just a personal opinion. I think it's often overlooked as a sort of 'you can add text to pictures' app, but it's got loads of filters, effects and cropping tools, and you can insert another picture with transparency intact. Best I've found on Android and believe me, I've been LOOKING. * +

Hence its popularity on IOS - the 'steps removed and sequence shortened' liePhone crowd need social network integration like normal people need air..personally I prefer the real-life friends who come round my yard and I can go to the pub with than pretend Farcebook friends you've never met. *
