Oh, the Desire Z has faster HSPA (HSDPA 14.4mbps), has the newer HTC SenseUI, but a smaller battery and weaker CPU than the Desire, i think you'd actualy be better off with the normal Desire. * +

They both run Android2.2 Froyo so yeah,they do the same thing, it just depends on what you want. * +
