PowerAMP was what i used when i disliked MediaScape in my old Xperia X10, great equalizer, im suprised the XE doesnt have a EQ, isnt it that good even in Beats Audio mode? * +

Beats Audio mode produces too much ba55 which can be annoying while listening to slow songs. And if you turn off beats Audio thingy, the phone makes a switch to HTC enhancement, which is totally awful. * +

its cr*p without beats audio and not that good with beats on some songs, guess its down to th quality of th song bt my sony ericssons neva let me down on the music side without fancy headphones lol * +

SE is generally good with audio quality. Even the Xperia Mini pro sounds better than the Sensation XE

meh, i give up. the in line controls and beats enhancement refuses to work if i install any other type of music player, even if im not using it! just have to find a good equilizer to use on its own separately i guess. total disappointment :l * +

player pro and the DSP pack is the only option for htc mobiles imo, been using since I found out about it *
