kies is toss for updating. head to xda and get into intratechs post. use Odin to flash the desired rom. * +

I see on a site(think sammobile.com) not sure they only have 2.3.3 for my phone i9100xxke7 not sure if I can just update it to any of the fw on the site, is there any diff between 2.3.3 and 2.3.6? or shud I just wat for official ics? and I got my phone with free navigation, what will happen when I update? * +

the main thing is .3 has the battery drain bug. latest is .6. I would flash XWLA4. its 2.3.6, and has the new galaxy note lock screen plus other changes. *
