Hi there,my husband has a problem,I hope u can help:the gmail acc linked 2 his market has bn deleted entirely but now his galaxy s remembers d account n refuses 2 login.We tried 2 delete that now faulty acc n setup a new one but both actions fails.He cant enter d market becos there seem nowhere 2 edit d account details.Surely samsung made room 4 people wantin 2 change their account info?When I google they say 2 factory restore but my husband dosnt wana do that. so much for ur help.. * +

settings, accounts and sync, click on the Google account then click remove account. * +

it doesnt work, when we click remove and then ok its still there afterwards, it just doesnt want to delete * +

looks like it will need a reset. just tell him to use titanium back up to back up then restore his apps. * +

thanx @rpd.fire for ur help....we got a stubborn one here, he says he doesnt want to connect to the pc coz last time it duplicated all his contacts and calendar items, he doesnt want me to do it either. i've illustrated numerous times before with my phone how successfully it can be done but I am a bit more ''adventerous'' in the tech departement than he is. i wish there was another way tho...... thanks again for your help appreciate it * +

no need for a pc just as long as its rooted. use titanium back up from market to back up apps and their data, make sure not to back up system data, then factory reset, get titanium again and restore apps. just sounds like its glitched up. that should solve it and he wouldn't lose his apps or the apps data * +

thanks rpd, he cant get into market due to the faulty gmail address, but he downloaded an app from web which let him root it and deleted the account.db file. now he got a new acc set up and the old one removed but still cant enter the market. is there somewhere we can change the acc the market remembers? * +

If the phone is rooted he could delete the cache settings etc from market i think that could help. * +
