Unfortunately Galaxy Ace S5830 is not among the various Galaxy series phones Samsung recently announced ICS upgrade schedule for. But there is already Android 4 based custom roms for Ace that works smooth and fast like the Myth Rom. * +

Well TheMyth Rom is not exactly ics, but gb 2.3.5 with ics functionality and Android 4 UI. It has a hell load of tweaks and mods like App2sd script, tweak manager, new Holo theme, music player controls added to lock screen, reworked interface in settings and browser, Filesystems are ext4, CF-Root 3.7, deodexed.. * +

that I dont know m8.. my lil bro has an ace and i prtty much love it, except the horrid touchwiz.. htc has a better ui sense with more usability, but its very resource hungry compared ro tw.. so that may be problem for an entry level droid. * +
