my phones just had a firmware update pushed to my phone...great i thought...but oooohhh noooo, only difference i can see is the spring effects in the menus which looks ok i guess...same as on my old se arc but its horrible in the browser this horid blue band comes in from the top bottom and sides and looks aweful can any1 help stop thos...wki8 * +

It's the overscroll glow which was put in place due to the lawsuit with apple. It's awful, I got rid of mine using a custom ROM. * +

why didnt they just remove the overscroll...why the fek did they put a glow in it...wouldnt mind if it was top n bottom....but its left n right too...sooooo annoyin...yes easy to use a diff browser but i like the stock1 * +

j.k mod has the option to remove the overscroll glow. I actually think its ok but sime firmwares have it more than others * +

I like the new room what country you from I'm on the UK and did my update from the xda website now got the French rom 235 works lime a dream and I have rooted my phone to and uninstalled Swype and updated it from there website * +
