Im guessing youre in the USA? Vivid seems to be the US (ATT) version of the Sensation but with a larger 4.5inch qHD display and 4G LTE support, id say you made a good decision, although it does have a small battery compared to the GS2 Rocket. * +

We can't get the Skyrocket here. No support for 4g so it's pointless. Though the processor running at 1.5ghz and slightly larger screen would be alright. *
