xpower series is the best for battery, bundled with siyah kernal.. KI8 beta is out I thing am with 2.1 and is morethan happy with battery and performance. * +

I mean xpower based on KI8 is out but its beta.. smaberg has made many more tweaks for power saving and performance on an already brilliant rom. I am with xpower 2.1 which is based on 2.3.5 *
