If you are still going to be using a task killer after reading the above then you clearly you didnt understand the article. I cant imagine forever having to kill tasks, that must realy degrade the user experience, i remember using ATK when i 1st got my X10, it just made no sense to keep killing tasks when they are right back up in a few seconds, just realised that Android's taskmanagement works... * +

Yep Ricky, what realy eats battery are widgets and apps that refresh in very close intervals e.g. if you have Twitter refreshing every 10mins that is going to eat up your batt quickly, widgets that are refreshing too often to, and these are both Services, exactly as said in the article, so killing idle apps e.g. Maps etc...is useless. * +
