This was back in the early 2000s and I was still in school. One of my friends used to call me (landline) every day for chat during the summer holidays. One day I had two other friends over and while we were hanging out, my other friend called me. We spontaneously decided to prank him so my other friend picked up and started to speak like an old lady. My friend was clearly confused but asked for me. The friend pretending to be an old lady said the previous tenants had moved away. He thanked her and hung up. A couple of minutes later the phone rang and we saw that it was another friend so we didn't pick up. Instead the 3 of us decided to use one of our mobile phones to call up the second friend and pretend to be hysterical, saying that they had just called me and some old lady had answered and said I had moved away. So yeah, the news spread around our friend group who kept calling my landlady and then my mobile phone. It was ridiculous but it was hilarious for us back then, I still think it is so sweet that they cared about me back then. *
