Many claim it's a tax scam or some other nonsense, but if the ocean warms up only a few degrees.. krill die, the things that eat krill die, food chain collapses.. millions of people starve or become cannibals. Seems like a serious situation to me. * +

Climate change is very real. It's true that it's always been happening but what deniers seem to ignore is how fast it is happening due to human actions. Industrial revolution etc.
We are increasing the speed of it. * +

Then we have idiots with their ''drill baby drill'' mentality who actually don't care about the complete destruction of the natural world around us.
It's funny, America was really the birthplace of modern conservation.. many beautiful places are preserved there because of that. It would be a shame to see it all go. * +

Many years ago I stated how impressed I was at just how much damage man has done since the start of the industrial revolution.
And I remember a conversation in a pub with some mates back in the 90s where I said we needed to use new-found technology and knowledge to 'jump the river' from unsustainable living to sustainable.
I still feel exactly the same. I feel this way about the planet because I live here. And so will future generations. And if they can't, then there's not much point us being here now, is there. * +
