Have you ever experience a situation where your brain remember it forgot something without knowing or remembering what it is (brainslug)???
This my most fearful brain feature...lol (madlol)! *

It's usually right. But no thinking will reveal it before I'm halfway down the road.
If you must remember something before you go out, leave a reminder at the front door.
Or connect it to what you'll be doing when you need to remember - so if you need to remember to buy coleslaw on the way home, imagine your car covered in coleslaw. Make it ridiculous. And then you will remember, next time you approach your car.
We are lazy. Modern life makes us this way. You won't remember something if you don't make an effort to store it in your imagination.
I've remembered phone numbers this way since I was a kid. Cars are useful, as millions used numbers for their model, it helps being an anorak - so 623242 is a Rover 623 and a Volvo 242, just picture the two cars and you're done. I still use this for part numbers at work. *
