Anyone being affected by this? A major issue with a Crowdstrike security software update is causing millions of PC's worldwide to experience a BSOD(Blue Screen Of Death) error preventing devices from being able to boot up. The issue is causing mayhem and chaos around the globe with flights being grounded as the airports come to a halt and banks being unable to access customers accounts.

This isn't a hacking attack or a malware issue, it was a mistake in the software's coding. Crowdstrike have released a patch to fix the issue but it's unknown how long it will take to come into effect or to get everything up and running and back to normal again.
There's a command to help fix(which won't show properly here(you will need to swap out the 5 / for backslashes instead): del ''C:/Windows/System32/drivers/CrowdStrike/C-00000291*.sys''

One can't apply the new patch when the system is not booting into Windows properly. 
Safe Mode is required if that works at all too. * +

From what i've read i get the impression that some users of crowdstrike may have to fix every machine manually one by one. That is going to take forever. * +
