Subject: World gone mad?

I just saw someone walking a greyhound, the dog was wearing what can only be described as a full, made to measure, all in one waterproof rain suit, sort of looked a bit like a silver puffer jacket but with 4 'arms' for the legs(with elasticated cuffs), a custom hood with slots for the ears, plus tail/po0p and pee holes, etc.

The dog itself looked kinda sad and a bit embarrassed to be seen out in public wearing it. Many people won't even own a rain jacket that's as 'designer' as that dogs rain jacket.

So what's the last thing you saw* that made you exclaim ''the world's gone mad'' out loud(or muttered under your breath in a mildly irritated fashion, perhaps even seethed in anger, whatevs)?





* just little stuff you happened to see whilst out and about, not the kinda stuff you see on the news or read about in the papers, we all know how maddening that kinda sh*t is already.(good)

If your dog needs to wear a coat, either your dog is defective or you have a dog that is unsuited to that particular environment. * +

Obi is correct, due to greyhounds not having sufficient fat on theor bodies they feel the cold very easily. But they do require exercise in all types of weather. I haven't seen a greyhound in doggy clothing. Least it got a walk. * +

In my experience, most greyhounds are quite lazy and don't seem to really like going out for walks all that much, not like some other dogs that will get super excited and fetch you their leads/your shoes if they so much as hear the w-word mentioned. * +

Our Jack Russell won't wear a coat. Have bought him a few different ones to try and he just wont wear one. * +

only seen one person put a jacket on a dog... and those dog booties too, and not have them shaken off instantly.

if you want your dog to keep their jackets and booties on maybe move to Alaska !? * +

Vodka walks and kicks outta those boots. I usually lose them along the way. Ive learned she doesnt like them.

Shes had two coats her whole like, one I got which was cute, another one was a gift and she hated it as much as I did. She Wa ball of poof so dont need a coat, plus poms and huskies and other natural cold weather dogs have undercoats to naturally keep them warm. Some other dogs maybe like a gray hound doesnt have that and may need a coat.

As for surprising things, eh. I live in New York, nothing surprises me anymore. * +
