They can put HS2 through there, now.

Good luck with that, it was only ever going to go as far north as York but they scrapped that branch of the line some time ago and now they're scrapping the line to Manchester as well, so it's only going to go as far north as Birmingham now. Oh and the line was supposed to terminate at Euston Station but that stretch is also set to be scrapped, so it will now only reach Old Oak Common on the outskirts of Greater London, which effectively completely negates the entire stated point of the fucking thing in the first place, namely to reduce journey times into central London from the north. Any time it would have saved is now going to be lost by having to get off and change onto a regular train or bus to complete the rest of the journey into the centre. The whole project has been a giant waste of time and tax payers money. * +

The whole thing was for office workers, who have suddenly become home workers. So half the skyscrapers can come down.

And there was retail thinking it had it hard... * +

If the rats started building it in York it would of finished in London no doubt * +

How many billions has it cost so far and it will now achieve what exactly? Even if it was still going to terminate at Euston, it would only have cut the journey time from Birmingham by approx 25mins. Now I don't know how long it takes to get from Old Oak Common to central London but i'd be prepared to guess 25mins would be optimistic at best, so in all likelihood it will probably end up actually increasing journey times.(facepalm) * +

Now the work project is complete I am thinking of a project bike. Nothing too old or complicated maybe a late 70's Kawasaki Kz650 or something. * +

I've been looking at old Triumphs, like the TR650 * +

They have that sweet old school engine noise sort of why I was thinking of a 70's bike. My mechanical skills are very limited though. I can take sh*t off and replace it and stuff like that but identifying mechanical issues and tracing it to source is where I fall very flat. *
