What's the most precious,valuable thing or items you have lost?
I do mean items or objects..not people or relatives. * +

For me I think it was photos of relatives,i lost a lot in one fell swoop. Pictures of my dad and mom,cousins who died as kids etc.
Lost a valued wallet that my grandad gave me also my first guitar. * +

I've never been materialistic but I put many years of development into a car, to make it my ideal little hot hatch. It was great fun.

After I was almost killed in it, I was asked if I was gonna rebuild it. But I scrapped it, along with a garage full of parts. I had so many fractures I couldn't even get in a car, let alone rebuild one, but the problem was deeper than that. I'd fkd up. It'd bit me. I could see it as misadventure.

I considered something bigger, newer, safer.. But it took so long to learn so much about what works and fits.. I don't think I could do it all again.
It's not just a toy that I lost. I lost all passion for such a thing.

I bought a modern mini to put a big engine in, but soon realised I didn't care to. I still have it, and it's still standard.

I've since got into ebikes, I have a few of them, I enjoy building and developing them. I'm currently building a second tandem, and a 4-wheel thing.. e-quad. But they can come and go, I no longer have all my eggs in one basket. * +

I think it would be my great uncle's Royal Navy cap tally badge (ship cap ribbon).

I've got all his posthumous medals, but that ribbon has vanished.
