When i was a smoker i used to regularly buy baccy and knocked off booze! Sometimes a couple of women would come in a and take orders..tell them what you want and hey presto they would return with your order a few hours later.

The landlady of a boozer i went in about 6 years ago was taking orders for guitars. A week or so later she had 4 of them lined up in the back room.

I'm not sure if it's a thing anymore but I remember when you'd regularly get blokes going around local pubs selling seafood. Mostly c0ckles, whelks, muscles and that sort of thing, even live crabs on occasion.(fish) * +

There's a local shoplifter and god knows what else around here that used to knock the door with stuff and we were always unable to afford whatever it was.havent seen him in ages so maybe he gave up trying with us or he's back in prison.i never felt like getting on the wrong side of the family * +
