Very late 90s. I suspect 1999.

I had an XR3i and had used it to carry several bags of pea shingle to a mate's parent's house for some work we were doing there.

We ended up on their PC searching the internet. Just any random stuff we could think of.

As it was that car, it could only really have been that year. I actually owned it nearer 2yrs, but it would've been the fairer weather months. * +

I used to use Dogpile for searches and then in 99 someone showed me this new search called Google with no adverts and a mostly white background and fast loading time even with dial up. It looked like a half finished website compared to the usual garish 90s websites but the practicality of the stripped down look soon became apparent. * +
