Been a little bit more emotional today after seeing a photo of a colleague of mine on social media. She used to be very fit. Went to the gym regularly and even won a few times at body building competitions. It’s just devastating to see her wheelchair bound probably just in her late 50s. I hope that someday they could find a cure for MND as it’s a a very excruciating disease. 😢 * +

There are two promising areas of research being explored here in Australia in regards to that. The best they can do for now is use medication to slow down its progression. *
