Went through the whole 'Look at Life' series last year, a documentary series originally aired in the 1960s about the then-current issues of the time.
I don't know how interesting it was back in it's own day, but the yesteryear element now made it quite fascinating, and i found myself wanting to watch episode-after-episode (but there's like 200 episodes).
tl;dr - Good if you like seeing what life was like in '60s Britain *
