I wash thinking Thursday would be a good choice. How about you, what's your choice of day to die on?

Do bear in mind it's illegal to die in the Norwegian town of Longyearbyen on any day!

I think this is more of a problem for the Monday-Friday crew outside Covid restrictions. I mean, you wouldn't wanna work all week, only to snuff it before a good weekend..

I've worked shifts almost all my working life, the same shifts since the 1990s, and named days of the week don't really differ from one day to another. Or they do, but in equal measure. The only exceptions have been weekends still being more fun, when i'm able to join friends/family in the mainstream one.

But there's one day of the week that stands out; Sunday. I always hated Sundays. As a kid, my mum would be doing housework, and be the most miserable, narcissistic PITA anyone could be tortured with. But at least i had a bike to go out on - as long as it wasn't raining.

Adulthood saw Sunday become the comedown day. From out-of-tune guitars to to out-of-tune pool tables, Sunday was the day nothing felt the same. Only this past year has it shined, as a Sunday at work is a nice easy day. Always has been. Out of work and i usually have the brat here. Sunday these days is almost invariably a good day.

So there was a long time when Sunday would've been good. But now i've changed my mind. Any time Mon-Fri is fine. Tuesday or Wednesday, especially - Monday doesn't deserve the satisfaction. * +
