It's in US interests for constitutional change to manifest with generally more freer election and also if the pro-democratic politician Aang San Suu Kyi stays in power.
I understand why the military dictatorship would stage this coup; but I can't understand internationational backing behind this coup. * +

oh they're actually bothering to say we only assumed total control because these trumped up charges.
the rest of the government would've been helpless, unable to step in, a military take over was the only logical move.

A lockdown dance/fitness class in Myanmar apparently got more than they bargained for, they watched the coup happening live as the military convoy barrels past in the background behind the online instuctor.
