Man who had his nose and top lip removed to look like a 'black alien' now struggles to speak. This has lead to large online debate on whether the doctors should have agreed to engage in such a treatment where the patient quite clearly may have some mental issues.

Where do you draw the line? There's always some sort of mutilation going on for purely cosmetic reasons; why's a line drawn specifically when it comes to a mutilated nose and lips? * +
