Dude, firstly do not follow what the ''Movies'' portray, it's not all butter and cream just cause some movie or media displayed it as such, that's all B.S.... it would be best to visit a city first and then decide how it is... have practical first hand experience and knowledge before making a decision....from all the countries I've travelled to, at this point in life I liked the French country side...beautiful, peaceful and a lot of privacy...
