Milton Keynes, a new city 50 miles north of London and with a population of around 280,000, is usually a strong mix of Labour and Liberal Democrats. Tories here struggle to reach more than a mediocre hold.

A poor Tory result is certain, as is a great result for Labour - but it'll be interesting to see how the Lib-Dems do here, and whether Reform get a result at all.

23:55pm: Ballot papers continue to be sorted. Still awaiting beginning of count.

23:58pm: All ballot boxes are now in count venue, as final Buckingham and Bletchley ballots arrive.

Turnout in MK's three areas are 59/63/65 percent, resulting in a total of almost 143,000 ballots which is a pretty incredible turnout for MK

Who are these abnormally high votes for, do we think?
