So I put some wine in the freezer to chill and forgot about it for two whole fu*king days. I remembered today and its was frozen rock hard so I decided to defrost it.

Now Im drinking Pinot Grigio with little flurries of ice. It tastes a bit flatter, but the alcohol content is there.

Didnt know its actually freeze, but I guess the alcohol to water percentage made it possible. So do you know if it takes away from it or it just goes back to normal?

It got back to normal, but still tastes a little bit different. The crisp is gone. * +

The alcohol content wouldn't change, because alcohol freezes at a lower temp than home freezers can manage. If anything, it'd probably taste slightly stronger if still partially frozen because the water isn't mixed into it, as such.
