out of curiosity.... for those who the posts slow down after an X amount of replies... what phone and browser do you use?
trying to see if there is a common denominator ...
i have never had this happen to me whether no am doing old or new Pro.. no matter what phone or browser either * +

Doesn't matter if I use a phone tablet or PC seems after they get a few thousand reply they take ages to open. * +

android phones and full opera browser. the larger a topic gets the slower it is to load, but only on the newer site. * +

For me, there have always been fast and slow topics, but their size hasn't accurately matched. I've found some slow ones to be small, whilst huge ones were okay.
There have been huge ones causing problems, the old Word Association thread was enormous and very slow, there was a slow music thread, but then there was a particularly slow thoughts post from the first page and i said it was broken from the outset.
At the moment, i dunno. My broadband hasn't been too speedy this month, my new laptop is clogged up already, dunno whats going on there, and my phone has been mozilla android for several years now. * +

iPad mainly without any issues think its safari browser but fk knows to be honest. * +
